Allison Frese

Licensed Acupuncturist, RN

Allyson Frese is a licensed acupuncturist and registered nurse who brings together a decade of Western medical experience with the holistic approach of Eastern medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University in 2014 and her Master’s degree in Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture in 2025.

Her background includes many years in emergency medicine caring for both children and adults, as well as her current work in gastroenterology nursing. These experiences inspired her to focus her acupuncture practice on areas she is especially passionate about—digestive health, fertility, hormonal balance, and mental well-being.

Allyson believes deeply in helping patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to take an active role in their health. Her goal is to create a welcoming, collaborative space where patients can work toward feeling their best.

When she’s not in the clinic, Allyson enjoys spending time outdoors—especially at the beach—practicing yoga, and being with her dog, Penny.
